"Olivia and the Babies" by Jodie Shepherd Book Review

I'm reasonably sure that "Olivia and the Babies" by Jodie Shepherd

is part of a much larger group of books, but this is the first I've seen. This is what i get for going to the library and just dumping books in a bag. 

In any case, this is the story of a pig who wants to be a mommy so she gets pets and acts like they are her babies. I know this is a fun story showing children at play here, but it does downplay motherhood and the responsibilities there of. Also this book may get your child to want to get a pet or two. 

Who should read this book: People who want their kids to baby their pets.
