book about a boy and his summer that is so fantastical that only a child would come up with it. In the story the boy fights pirates, goes to space, and finds treasure. 

This is a book that is just plain clean fun and reading it may just make your day a little brighter. There are no real heavy morals and no big questions posed by the story. 

In addition, it is a very well made book that can stand some playtime by your youngster. The fantastical images are great for children and a lot of fun.
