The Hair of Zoe Fleefenbacher Goes to School by Laurie Halse Anderson Book Review

'The Hair of Zoe Fleefenbacher Goes to School' by Laurie Halse
Anderson is a book about a girl with hair that had a mind of its own. Her hair is the kind of thing that just will not do as it is told and it has to be doing something.

This is something of a book about making the best of a bad situation. Given the fact that in the real world hair does not have a mind of it's own I would have to question the applications of this kind of situation. As Zoe is a normal girl other than her hair it doesn't represent a disablement or anything of that nature. The theme of tolerance is somewhat absent from the book.

Who should read this book: Folks who don't think too hard.
