'Freight Trains' by Peter Brady is a very technical look at freight moving train cars.
The subject matter here is a little dry given that it's pictures of train cars and what kind of goods would be carried in these cars. One of those things about teaching very young children is you want to give them just enough information to stick in their heads. This book does that very well. It gives the child just enough so that they have a working understanding to trains and what they do.
Exposing children to a wide range of topics gives them a broad foundation on which to build future knowledge.
Who should read this book? Young children.
