Malarkey

Someone posted this comment in response to my laments over the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I couldn’t say if she was telling me this Doctor could influence the Supreme Court or if this was even a real person, but I can say this is malarkey.

"My life is back!!!

"After 2 years of marriage, my husband left for another woman, I     felt like my life was about to end i almost committed suicide, i       was emotionally down for a very long time. Thanks to a spell    caster called Dr. (Malarkey) whom i met online as I was browsing through the internet. I came across a lot of testimonies about this spell caster. Some people testified that he brought their Ex lover back, some testified that he restores womb, help with court cases, and other sickness, and also cast spell to win lottery and win bet, some testified that he can cast a spell to stop divorce and so on. I also came across one particular testimony, it was about a woman called Sonia, she testified about how he brought back her Ex lover in less than 3 days, and at the end of her testimony she dropped Dr. (Malarkey) contact address. After reading all these, I decided to give it a try. I contacted him and explained my problem to him and i followed his instructions. In just 3 days my husband came back to me. We solved our issues, and we are even happier than before. Dr. (Malarkey)  is really a gifted man and i will not stop publishing him because he is a wonderful man... If you have a problem and you are looking for a real and genuine spell caster to solve all your problems for you. Contact him anytime, he holds the answer and solution to your problems."

Computer Sickness

26th January 2015
Dear Cassi,

I had the strangest dream today. I dreamed that a video game was taking over my computer. It caused the computer to grow into the floor and leave purple and red patches where it became one with the world.

I turned the thing off, and it laughed at me then I unplugged it and this worked for a time before people with a computer infection came after me. They were not dangerous, even when armed with shovels and picks, and only served to annoy me.

Further, I had the same infection which I could discern from the silver markings on my skin. That was the telltale of computer sickness, silver bulges coming out of your skin. I took an ax handle and struck at these silver bulges in my attackers and so cured them of the sickness before returning to my computer and waking up.

I think all this came as the result of eating pizza before sleeping. Cheese is known to make the dreams lucid and that dream was very lucid. I can’t call it a nightmare, because I wasn’t afraid and it wasn’t night when I dreamed.

Further along, I dropped Pickle off at his group then went to Costco to do my shopping, where I had the pizza, and then picked pickle back up to take him home. He had silver paint on his hands from his art group. On the way home I stopped at the water store and got fresh water as we were running low.

I think part of it was that I just had a very busy day. Well, dreams are how our brain levels itself.

Keep dreaming, little sister,

Dish Army

12th October 2014

Dear Cassi,

As it always does it started with a dirty sink. That’s how I let my few days off slip by like they never were. Saturday morning when I came home the sink was full of dishes, and they spilled out onto the counter and across the room.

I hadn’t the strength to tackle them coming from an eight hour shift of work, having suffered a write-up, and finally capping my day with two hours of cardio at the gym. With this as my backdrop I slept as well as any who sleep during the day and found myself waking often.

It was possible at the six or seventh of these wakings that I emptied my bladder and found Pickle awake. It was just past one in the morning and he was in his night garb but wondered if I would cook and so I took that time to rise. I made quinoa and sausages red sauce sandwiches then set onto the task of the dishes.

I cleared the counter and empted the sink on to the old abused white tiles. The dishes I placed in rows like military ranks guarding the gates of the life I wish to be my own.

Before engaging this formation of grime armored dishware I set to the stinky towels I’d been soaking over night. I found that the smell of cat urine can only be truly removed by ammonia. The water once blue from this had turned brown and the smell of urine stayed as the towels left.

This was the nature of my day of drudgery. I would battle the ranks of the dishes, do laundry, and in the mess of this sleep and draw. I was hampered by a glaze in my left eye that told me how hard my kidneys were working after that workout.

Now it’s Sunday night at eight and the weekend is nearly gone. I’ve spent it all working, well, next week I promise myself time to relax, and I know I’ll break that promise.

Stay on top of things, little sister,

Night of Bad Dreams

1st March 2015

Dear Cassi,

Last night was a night of bad dreams, but in waking I found the sink a mess and the laundry in need of doing. Were the dreams so bad as my reality? I had to hold off on proper food and eat only something to keep my body going. Until nearly midnight I could make myself no proper meal because of the mess I had to address.

I had taken nothing into my gut for nineteen hours and so was feeling drained and weak. I guess you know this life, but I can only guess. I do not recall when I first started doing dishes, but I know it had hard to reach the counter top when I did. You must remember that back then my mother was too weak to wash and the rest of my family to lazy.

I stacked out the dishes and started addressing the jumble in the linen closet having to wash everything over again. I can’t imagine how Pickle finds it so hard to fold towels. Then the cabinets get rumbled after he washes dishes and the mess grows until I pull it all out and start over.

For more than twelve hours the washer or dryer ran with most of it being both at the same time. The dishwasher ran twice and the long run of cleaning only made a dent in the detritus.

In the end I finally when back to sleep and had more bad dreams, but not as bad as my waking nightmare. Now in the twilight of the day I sit before the computer logging this misfortune.

Live as you can, little sister,
