'Bugs on the Move (Comparing Bugs)' by Charlotte Guillain is a
book for the young entomologist. It describes the movement of bugs, not just insects, and how they differ from one another. As with the other books in this series this one gives you the most basic of information and it could really have so much more in those few pages. Past that it is a well made book with vivid photographs that any kid who loves bugs will enjoy. Who should read this book? Kids who love bugs. Books read: 125 of 5000
'Comparing Bugs: Bug Parts' by Charlotte Guillain is one of many
books in this series that describe the nature of bugs. That is not to say insects but all kinds of creepy crawlies that roam your garden. Now, this book is great for the parents wanting their child to learn about insects, but it would be for very young children. I mean, about preschool level. 'Bug Homes' by Charlotte Guillain is a book about the structures
that bugs like insects and arachnids build and live in. It is a book written for very young readers that gives a shallow interpretation of the facts. This is unavoidable as the target audience just can't absorb that kind of information right away. Anyone hoping that their children will get into this kind of biology would do very well to get them this book to build on their knowledge. I, as an adult, took very little away from this book, but your child should get a lot more than I. Who should read this book? Preschool children Books Read: 102 of 5000
